Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans for UVC Vein Centers within a designated territory, focusing on targeted Physician Referral growth.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing communication with Physician offices, specialty clinics, hospitals, and other relevant partners, keeping them updated throughout the patient lifecycle.
  • Educate physician contacts on services offered by UVVC using branded materials.
  • Track leads through the CRM and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Represent the UVC brand in a positive and professional manner.
  • Contribute to the UVVC business plan and strategy in partnership with the director of business development.
  • Develop and expand the referral base to grow designated UVVC clinic business.
  • Review, analyze, evaluate, and report on data regarding existing product performance and potential development opportunities.
  • Maintain UVVC’s image in the target community as cutting-edge experts on the treatment of vein disease.
  • Oversee efforts to position UVVC competitively, including routine analysis of competitors’ strengths and services.
  • Identify physician referral opportunities within the medical community through research and prospecting.
  • Establish and maintain communications with referring providers and/or their office staff via in-person visits, emails, and phone calls.
  • Provide information and branded messages to physicians on UVVC products and services.
  • Identify and coordinate speaking opportunities within hospitals, ALFs, and medical associations.
  • Develop strategies to promote provider engagement and collaboration, including new provider orientation, office visits, social events, referral dinners, and CEUs.
  • Utilize networking opportunities to nurture relationships with local community organizations and small businesses to increase advocacy of UVVC within the territory.

  • Adhere to UVVC’s Standards of Conduct as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with UVVC policies, HIPAA, and other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ experience in healthcare sales and/or marketing.
  • 1-3 years of business development experience.
  • Proven and verifiable track record of success in healthcare referral marketing, pharmaceutical sales, device sales, or physician marketing.
  • Established presence in the market.
  • Proficient in the use of Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Proven ability to communicate with and positively persuade others.
  • Proficient in medical terminology and acumen.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to independently meet with internal and external physicians to discuss market strategy and educate on UVVC service lines.
  • Results-driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able and willing to travel regularly within assigned market.
  • Must show proof of (and maintain) minimum personal auto insurance coverage of $100,000 for bodily injury liability per person, $300,000 for bodily injury liability per accident, and $50,000 for property damage liability.
  • Able to embrace and adapt to new system technologies to support the business.
  • Dependable; able to meet reliable attendance and punctuality standards for the role.
