Physician - Interventional Radiology

About the role

This job location is not currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type.

Responsibilities

• Supports recruitment for an interventional radiologist to join an established private practice, Murfreesboro Vascular and Interventional.
• Helps expand a broad range of interventional procedures including chemoembolization, cryoablation, TIPS, venous thrombectomy, mesenteric angiography, uterine fibroid embolization, prostate embolization, and stroke thrombectomy.
• Shares intervention call responsibilities, weekdays after 5 pm, weekend and holidays.
• Outpatient-based lab buy-in available.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice medicine in Tennessee.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of interventional radiology techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
