Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport & LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport are seeking a full-time BC/BE Interventional Radiologist.
About the Role
This position combines teaching and patient care. Performs a full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures. Emphasizes teaching and provides vitally important leadership and guidance to medical students and residents. Is part of an IR integrated residency, with early specialization in interventional radiology.
Responsibilities
- Performs a full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures.
- Teaches medical students and residents.
- Provides leadership and guidance to medical students and residents.
- Participates in an IR integrated residency program.
- Specializes in interventional radiology early in the career.
Requirements
- Fellowship trained in vascular and interventional radiology.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Radiology.
- 5,000 studies performed annually.
Qualifications
- Residency in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Medical Degree.
- License to practice medicine in Louisiana.
