Physician Interventional Cardiology

Located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Hickory offers a temperate climate and abundant natural resources. You’ll be minutes from Lake Norman—the largest lake in North Carolina—with upscale lakeside communities, dining, and recreational opportunities. The area is also within easy reach of both Charlotte and Asheville.

About the role

• Join a hospital-employed practice with 6 board-certified cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers
• Work at an accredited Chest Pain Center within a not-for-profit medical center
• Full scope of coronary interventions, including stenting, atherectomy, and thrombectomy
• Advanced capabilities such as Impella placement, PFO closure, and intravascular lithotripsy
• Left and right heart catheterization with or without nitrous oxide available onsite
• Busy practice environment free from administrative duties, with participation in decision-making
• Practice is located approximately 1 hour from Charlotte, North Carolina

Schedule

• Monday–Friday schedule with 2–3 weeknights per week
• Every 4th weekend on call
• Rotating holiday call
