Physician - Interventional Cardiology - 100k Sign On Bonus

About the role

Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Interventional Cardiologist to join its busy practice. The group consists of 3 interventional cardiologists, 2 non-invasive cardiologists, and 4 advanced practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Rotating physicians who offer advanced heart failure, TAVR, vascular surgery, and electrophysiology support.
• Cover one hospital.
• General call is every fifth night for all physicians, and interventional backup is every third night. Cath lab days, weekly hospital coverage, and night and weekend call are rotated.
• Each physician rotates to 3 clinic locations for their practice.
• The diagnostic department performs EKGs, Holter and event monitoring, exercise stress tests (including nuclear), cardiac ultrasound (to include stress echo and dobutamine stress echo), vascular ultrasound.
• The group has an arrhythmia/device clinic and cardiac rehab.
