Responsibilities
- Provide professional medical care to Group's patients in accordance with the professional standards of care, quality and practice controls and policies as adopted from time to time by Group and as required by law.
- Provide call coverage for the Office(s) as scheduled by Group.
- Provide uncompensated days of emergency department call coverage for the Hospital(s) per month, consistent with the Medical Staff Bylaws and by specialty.
- Perform the particular duties assigned by Group from time to time.
- Keep and maintain appropriate records, reports, claims and correspondence necessary and appropriate in connection with all professional services rendered under employment and as required by Group policies and procedures in effect from time to time.
- Promote Group's professional practice to the extent permitted by law and the applicable canons of professional ethics.
- Attend to the administrative duties of the Group's professional practice to the extent required by Group's policies.
- Participate in marketing/public relations of his/her duties such as speaking engagements, newspaper interviews, etc. as required by Group from time to time.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of South Carolina.
