Position Highlights

Join a comprehensive cardio-oncology program offering outpatient and inpatient care, advanced cardiovascular imaging, clinical and translational research, and participation in nationally recognized educational initiatives.

Partner with the Cancer Service Line to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care for oncology patients.

Help lead the continued growth and strategic development of Rush's expanding cardio-oncology program.

Provide predominantly outpatient and inpatient clinical care at Rush University Medical Center, with additional clinical responsibilities at Rush Oak Park Hospital.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, advanced cardiac imaging, heart failure, interventional cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgery.

Participate in and help lead educational initiatives.

Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and scholarly activities consistent with an academic faculty appointment.

Build upon an established regional and national reputation through research, speaking engagements, program development, and professional society involvement.

Practice independently without dedicated APP support while collaborating within a highly multidisciplinary care team.

Candidate Qualifications

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.

Demonstrated expertise and significant clinical experience in Cardio-Oncology.

Mid-career or senior physician with an established record of clinical excellence.

Recognized regional and/or national reputation in cardio-oncology, including academic, research, or professional society involvement.

Passion for multidisciplinary collaboration, program development, and academic medicine.

Interest in teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.
