About the Role

St. Luke's Health System is seeking a BC/BE internal medicine physician to join our collegial and patient-focused team at our centrally located Boise clinic. Our team includes five physicians and three advanced practitioners practicing a team-based care model, with an embedded therapist and pharmacist. We focus on supporting the overall well-being and long-term health of our patients through routine and preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.

Our primary care services include the diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as heart disease, hypertension, kidney disease, gastrointestinal problems, allergies, cancer, infections, anemia, depression, diabetes, thyroid disease, lung problems (e.g., asthma and emphysema), neurological issues (e.g., strokes and seizures), and nutritional concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine and preventive health checks.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Manage ongoing care for chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including advanced practitioners, therapists, and pharmacists.
  • Participate in medical education opportunities, including teaching medical students and residents.
