Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to patients admitted to the hospital under the supervision of attending physicians.
- Manage patient care plans, including ordering tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating with other healthcare providers.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient encounters and treatments accurately and timely according to hospital policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialty, or equivalent.
- Licenses/Certifications: Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine. Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and ability to manage complex medical cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
