About the role
As a Home Health Aide at Amedisys, you will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes, assisting with daily activities and medication management.Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
- Help patients with meal preparation and nutrition
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Administer prescribed medications as directed
- Support patients with mobility and transportation needs
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Passing score on a background check
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Experience in home health care or related field preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients and families
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR

Pay
Hourly wage based on experience and education.Schedule
