Physician-Hematology/Oncology: NEA Baptist

About the role

This opportunity is an employed position with NEA Baptist Clinic, seeking a BC/BE hematologist/oncologist to join a busy and growing practice at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, AR.

Responsibilities

• Practice in a supportive and physician-friendly environment
• Work closely with a team of 1 fulltime physician, 2 part-time physicians nearing retirement, and 4 NPs
• Benefit from a large referral base across 13 primary care clinics
• Enjoy a 4.5 day work week with no more than 10 days of hospital call per month
• Take advantage of a state-of-the-art $450M Medical Campus including a stand-alone Cancer Center
• Participate in a vibrant community with access to various recreational activities and educational institutions

Requirements

• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
• Current Medical License in Arkansas
• At least 3 years of post-certification experience preferred

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and provide compassionate patient care
• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary healthcare setting

Pay

A competitive compensation package is offered, including a $600K base guarantee for the first two years, followed by a production model with greater earning potential.
