About the role

A solo position building a new oncology service line at a hospital-employed medical center in Arlington, VA. Access to clinical trials and research opportunities through Georgetown University.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a new oncology service line
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to build and grow the oncology program
• Manage clinical operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives
• Provide expert consultation and mentorship to oncology staff

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology / Oncology
• Three years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current license to practice medicine in Virginia
