About the role
A hospital-employed leadership role overseeing and mentoring primary care providers at an assigned center focusing on older adult primary care. Manage a manageable patient panel with on-site diagnostics including ultrasound, echocardiogram, stress tests, and EKG. Lead an interdisciplinary care team including medical assistants and care coordinators.
Responsibilities
- Manage a manageable patient panel with focus on older adult primary care
- Oversee and mentor primary care providers at assigned center
- Lead interdisciplinary care team including medical assistants and care coordinators
- On-site diagnostics including ultrasound, echocardiogram, stress tests, and EKG
Requirements
- Board-certified geriatric medicine physician required
- DEA required
- Outpatient-based role with strong clinical-operations culture and team support
Qualifications
- Experience in primary care, particularly with older adult patients
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team
