About the role
Ochsner Rush Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician for their outpatient Family Medical Clinic. The position will not cover nursery or C-Sections; Neonatology coverage is handled separately. The Pediatric Clinic is located on Highway 19 North, near Ochsner Rush.
Responsibilities
- Established outpatient practice with a current 2 pediatricians, 1 family medicine physician, and 3 NPs.
- Ability to step into an established practice with a large referral base in East Mississippi and West Alabama.
- Opportunity to contribute to the growth of the Pediatric program at Ochsner Rush Health.
Requirements
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics.
- Experience in outpatient pediatric care.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with patients and families.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana.
- Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX exams.
