West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements.
About the role
West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine are seeking a General Neurologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV in a collaborative atmosphere that allows practicing advanced medicine in a highly satisfying environment.
Candidates will join an active team including neurologists, neuropathologists, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists for collaboration in the areas of patient care, research, and education.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent patient care in the area of neurology
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligible for state medical license
- Completed a neurology residency program
- Board certified or eligible in neurology
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment
