Physician - General Hematology Oncology

About The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated General Medical Oncologist to join our close-knit team on the island of Kaua‘i. This is a unique opportunity to provide compassionate, community-based cancer care in one of the most beautiful and serene locations in the world.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient oncology care (15–20 patients/day)
• Minimal inpatient responsibilities (2–3 calls/week from ER or inpatient providers)
• Collaborate with subspecialists in breast, GI, GU, hematology, and thoracic oncology
• Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary care planning
• Mentor and teach advanced practice providers (APPs)

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Disease-focused care with expert teams including APPs, oncology-certified RNs, and navigators
• Six monthly specialty cancer conferences
• Subspecialty collaboration with the University of Hawai‘i Cancer Center, offering patients access to cutting-edge clinical trials
• Recognition as Hawai‘i’s only Integrated Network Cancer Program accredited by the Commission on Cancer

About Kaua‘i Medical Clinic

• Kaua‘i Medical Clinic is the island’s largest clinic and only multispecialty medical group.
• Nearly 100 providers offer primary and specialty care at clinic locations in ‘Ele‘ele, Kapa‘a, Kōloa and Līhu‘e.
