Physician - General Cardiologist - Advanced Cardiac Imaging
About the role
The successful candidate will join a growing program at Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute, part of PeaceHealth RiverBend Medical Center. Located within PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend, the institute offers a unique “hospitalist within a hospital” model that centralizes all key cardiac and vascular services under one roof. This integrated approach facilitates seamless, multidisciplinary collaboration and ensures patients receive coordinated, high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care in General and Diagnostic Cardiology
- Contribute to the advanced cardiovascular imaging program
- Support the heart failure and electrophysiology programs
- Participate in the structural heart program, including TAVR, Mitra and Tri Clip, Watchman, and PFO/ASD closure
- Lead the echocardiography and nuclear cardiology programs
- Manage the advanced cardiac imaging and vascular laboratory
Requirements
- Significant expertise and enthusiasm for General and Diagnostic Cardiology
- Strong interest in echocardiography
- Significant experience or fellowship training in advanced cardiac imaging
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine
- Current license to practice medicine in Oregon

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in advanced cardiac imaging techniques
