About the role
A well-established gastroenterology practice in Maryland is seeking a permanent gastroenterologist to join its growing team. This opportunity offers a mostly outpatient practice with inpatient rounding limited to your own patients. The position allows you to focus on general gastroenterology while also providing the option to perform advanced procedures, such as ERCP and EUS, if desired.

The practice operates in Bowie, Maryland, with privileges at Doctors Community Hospital. There is also an opportunity to be part of a new GI clinic and endoscopy center planned for Annapolis, Maryland, expected to open in summer 2027. Physicians interested in the Annapolis location may begin practicing in Bowie prior to the new site opening.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient gastroenterology care with limited inpatient rounding for your own patients
- Perform general gastroenterology procedures
- Option to perform advanced procedures, including ERCP and EUS
- Participate in the growth and development of the practice, including potential expansion to a new clinic and endoscopy center in Annapolis
