About the role
Mercy Gastroenterology is seeking a board certified or board eligible GI Hospitalist at Mercy Hospital Washington in Washington, MO. The position offers a hybrid model combining hospitalist and outpatient endoscopy services.
Responsibilities
- Manage inpatient gastrointestinal cases
- Conduct outpatient endoscopic procedures
- Collaborate with the gastroenterology team
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics
- Experience in hospitalist care preferred
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current license to practice medicine in Missouri
- Passing score on the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME)
