Physician - Gastroenterologist
Position Summary
CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join an established practice in Alexandria, LA. Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible and possess a Louisiana Medical License prior to employment.
About the Role
This position offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, a 300-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission. The hospital is located in the Center of Louisiana and serves as a regional referral center, conveniently situated off Interstate 49 near the Red River and within easy reach of New Orleans.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert care in gastroenterology to patients in the community
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities
- Contribute to the growth and success of the gastroenterology practice
Requirements
- Board certification/eligibility in Gastroenterology
- A Louisiana Medical License
- Current DEA license
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- At least 3 years of post-residency experience in gastroenterology
