Primary Responsibilities
- Perform detailed medical evaluations including lifestyle, environmental, nutritional, metabolic, and psychosocial assessments.
- Develop individualized care plans using evidence-based functional medicine principles and precision medicine approaches.
- Interpret advanced laboratory testing when clinically appropriate and incorporate findings into patient treatment plans.
- Provide longitudinal care with an emphasis on prevention, early intervention, and sustainable lifestyle change.
- Collaborate with patients to establish measurable health goals and monitor outcomes over time.
- Prescribe medications, nutritional therapies, supplements, and other treatments when medically indicated.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Preventive Medicine.
- Preference for formal training or certification in Functional Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, or Nutrition.
- Experience caring for patients with chronic inflammatory, autoimmune, metabolic, hormonal, or gastrointestinal disorders.
- Interest in longevity medicine, cognitive health, and healthy aging.
- Demonstrated commitment to preventive, patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
