About the role

A fellowship training in obesity medicine is required. This medical director role leads a multidisciplinary team including APPs, dietitians, and behavioral health specialists. The position involves 90% clinical and 10% administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a comprehensive obesity program
  • Develop and implement evidence-based obesity management strategies
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care
  • Conduct research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior members of the team

Requirements

  • Board certified in internal medicine, family medicine required
  • Experience in obesity medicine is preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of obesity-related diseases and treatments
