About the role

Sanford Watertown Clinic is seeking Family Medicine physicians to join their busy primary care team. The practice offers shared call with pediatricians, adult call via phone, and full clinic services including lab, x-ray, ultrasound, 3D mammography, and physical therapy. Surgical specialties are also available at the medical center.

Responsibilities

• Shared call with pediatricians, including newborns, C-sections, and pediatric admits
• Adult call via phone only, with hospitalist program for inpatient care
• RN Care Managers and an Integrated Health Therapist on-site for patient education and follow-up
• Offering outreach services for cardiology, nephrology, pulmonology, and some pediatric subspecialties
• Surgical specialties available at the medical center

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Family Medicine
• Current license to practice medicine in South Dakota

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
