About the role

The role involves providing full-spectrum primary care, including preventive care, acute illness treatment, and management of chronic diseases for patients of all ages. The incumbent will deliver wellness examinations, health screenings, and immunizations, order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, counsel patients on diet, lifestyle choices, and disease management, act as the first point of contact and coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and social workers, maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records, provide and document direct treatment for patients, participate in primary care division activities, and offer flexible work hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum primary care, including preventive care, acute illness treatment, and management of chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) for patients of all ages
• Deliver wellness examinations, health screenings, and immunizations to support disease prevention
• Counsel patients on diet, lifestyle choices, and disease management
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory work and imaging
• Offer guidance, counseling, and education on wellness, disease management, and medication adherence to patients and their families
• Act as the first point of contact and coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and social workers
• Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records, utilizing EPIC appropriately
• Provide and document direct treatment for patients, including ordering medications, referrals, and following up on specialist consultations
• Participate in primary care division activities, including peer review programs, quality metric improvement, and policy development

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Active, unrestricted license in the state of Washington
• Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for the specific practice
• Strong clinical diagnostic skills in an ambulatory setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications
