About the role

Join our team at East Liberty Family Health Care Center (ELFHCC), where you'll deliver high-quality medical care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment serving diverse and underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver primary and specialty care in clinic, nursing home, and home settings
• Congduct exams, review histories, and order diagnostic tests
• Provide hospital follow-up care at UPMC Shadyside and Magee Women's Hospital (credentialing/scope dependent)
• Promote wellness and prevention through patient education
• Oversee care delivered by PNPs and PACs; supervise triage functions of nurses
• Participate in evening/weekend call coverage
• Maintain accurate, timely records and billing documentation
• Complete forms for insurance, disability, and assistance programs
• Review labs and cultures; follow up with appropriate care
• Support clinical research with Medical Director approval
• Attend CME, staff meetings, in-service trainings, and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate in protocol development and compliance
• Ensure practices meet all regulatory and ethical standards

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Current Pennsylvania medical license
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or OB-GYN
• Minimum of 3 years post-residency experience preferred
• Bilingual candidates strongly preferred
• Interest in urban/inner-city medicine a must
