Physician - Endocrinology - Royal Oak
About the role
This position is offered to an endocrinologist who is interested in working in Southeastern Michigan. The physician has both inpatient duties and outpatient clinic. The position is tied to several ACGME approved programs, including Endocrine Fellowship and Internal Medicine residency. The outpatient office service can occur in a number of outpatient office spaces in Southeastern Michigan affiliated with Corewell.
Responsibilities
- See your own patients
- Round inpatient with residents, fellows, advanced practice providers and sometimes individually
- Attend weekly fellowship didactics (virtually or ideally in person)
- Attend monthly endocrine tumor board
- Attend bimonthly journal club with entire endocrine department
- Teach 2nd year medical students at Oakland University
- Facilitate thyroid biopsies and radiofrequency ablation procedures
- Manage a broad range of endocrine conditions including diabetes, obesity, bone and calcium metabolism, thyroid disease/nodules, gender affirming care, adrenal disease, pituitary disorders, HRT, etc.

BC/BE – Endocrinology
Unrestricted Medical License & DEA - Michigan
