About the role
Provides clinical care in the field of endocrinology/metabolism within the Internal Medicine department at OU Health.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with endocrine disorders
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct research in endocrinology/metabolism
- Teach and mentor residents and medical students
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice medicine in Oklahoma
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
- Experience in endocrinology/metabolism preferred
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for patient care and education
Skills
- Knowledge of endocrine system function
- Proficiency in medical terminology and diagnostic procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
