About the role
Provide emergency medical care at a Level II Trauma Center with moderate acuity and resource availability in a community hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage a patient volume of approximately 33,000 annually.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Deliver emergency care in a 20-bed ED with overflow beds and a moderate admit rate.
- Utilize onsite neonatology, hospice, case management, social work, and nearby air transport services.
- Work in a supportive, team-oriented environment emphasizing shared success and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Board eligible or certified in Emergency Medicine.
- Holding or eligible for an Illinois medical license.
