Physician - Emergency Medicine
About the role
MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join its expanding medical staff. The Emergency Medicine Department currently has six Physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers, operating within a newly renovated Emergency Department featuring private patient rooms and two state-of-the-art trauma rooms. The department also includes dedicated spaces for patients in psychiatric crisis and partners with LifeFlight of Maine for emergency patient transport when needed. This is a collaborative, fast-paced team environment with excellent support staff.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialty, or equivalent
- Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations
Compensation
Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance and quality incentives. The annual base salary for this position is $355,000.
