Physician - Child Neurologist - Full Time Academic

About the role

We are seeking a BC/BE Child Neurologist for the Department of Neurology at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport& LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport. This is an academic rank position for an experienced clinician.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality clinical care to pediatric patients with neurological conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Mentoring and providing clinical expertise to medical students and Neurology residents.
• Supervision of resident clinics, grand rounds, and didactic conferences.
• Participation in departmental activities and contributions to the growth of the Child Neurology Division.
• Mentoring and providing clinical expertise to faculty and residents.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Pediatrics and Child Neurology.
• Experience in academic medicine and teaching.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Eligible for licensure in Louisiana.
