Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Child Abuse Pediatrician to join the region's largest team of board certified, fellowship-trained pediatricians and pediatric specialists.
Practice Details
This position is at the Sanford Health Child Abuse Referral and Evaluation Clinic located in Fargo, ND. The clinic works with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, pediatrics orthopedics, trauma team, behavioral health, radiology and primary care providers. In-house 24/7 pediatric hospitalist coverage is provided at Sanford Medical Center, which houses a 12-bed PICU, a 24-bed pediatric unit, and a 40-bed Level III NICU with 27 outpatient pediatric medical subspecialty providers covering all specialties.
Responsibilities
- Care Services Medical evaluation of children with physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect concerns
- Forensic medical evaluation for child abuse
- Evaluations involving child pornography
- Hospital consultation
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be board certified and fellowship trained in child abuse pediatrics.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of North Dakota
- Experience in child abuse pediatrics preferred
