Physician, Cardiology - Non-Invasive

Job Summary

UW Health in northern Illinois seeks a BE/BC Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their growing cardiology team. Known for providing exceptional cardiac services, the team is dedicated to advancing cardiovascular care and innovation.

About the Role

Your clinical support includes:

• Dedicated UW Health Heart Hospital with non-invasive lab for echocardiograms, TEE’s, tilt table and stress tests
• Participation in the growth and development of new procedures and cardiac treatments, including CardioMEMS, Watchman and TAVR
• Support to streamline workflow and patient management
• Large built-in referral base from over 100 primary care providers in the medical group
• Opportunities to work with medical students and family medicine residents, as well as an academic appointment with the University of IL College of Medicine at Rockford
• Excellent tertiary specialty support from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include:

• Participating in the growth and development of new procedures and cardiac treatments
• Supporting the workflow and patient management
• Working with medical students and family medicine residents
• Offering academic appointments with the University of IL College of Medicine at Rockford
• Providing tertiary specialty support from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health

Requirements

Requirements include:

• MD or DO - Required
• Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire - Required
• Active Illinois medical license - Required
• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Non-Invasive Cardiology - Required
• Bi-annual CPR certification - Preferred

Pay

Salary range based on experience: $611,163 - $739,055
