About the role

Join our successful, robust Cardiology clinic at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart RiverBend Hospital, part of Oregon Heart and Vascular Institute (OHVI). The Eugene/Springfield area offers a vibrant community with a population of 380,000, nestled between the Cascade Mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex coronary and vascular interventions
• Offer TAVR, MitraClip, Tri-Clip, left atrial appendage occlusion, and Cryo-ablation/Pulsed Field Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation
• Participate in a streamlined Rapid Access Clinic where patients are seen within 72 hours
• Work in a busy vascular lab with nearly 8000 vascular studies annually
• Collaborate with a team of 21 physicians and 12 advanced practice clinicians

Requirements

• Strong coronary interventional skills
• Board eligible or certified in Interventional Cardiology

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Oregon
• Completion of an accredited cardiovascular training program

Skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology
