Responsibilities

• Be available by phone to address the needs of patients experiencing acute cardiac emergencies (STEMI) during off-hours.
• Evaluate the need for in-person intervention for patients in the inpatient cardiology unit.
• Provide timely and appropriate telephone consultations or arrange for patients to be seen in person if necessary.
• Collaborate with the on-site healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage patient admissions as needed (temporary privileges not available).
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Cerner EMR system (credentialing permitting).

Qualifications

• Board eligibility or certification in Interventional Cardiology is mandatory.
• Valid medical license in Arizona or eligibility for licensure through the Interstate Medical License Compact (I
