Physician - Cardiology - General
About the role
Sanford Cardiovascular Institute is seeking a BE/BC General Cardiologist to join its current group of five general cardiologists, one advanced imager, two cardiac electrophysiologists, three interventional cardiologists and three cardiothoracic vascular surgeons and 22 APPs. Clinic hours are from 8:00am-5pm, Mon-Fri.
The position requires call, 1:6. This position encompasses the full scope of General Cardiology responsibilities including inpatient rounding, outpatient appointments, robust outreach program, and reading Cardiology diagnostic testing.
Responsibilities
- Skilled supportive colleagues with decades of experience
- Strong mentorship and collaboration among the team
- Comprehensive Fellowship programs: Accredited General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship programs
- Active involvement of fellows in research and procedural training
- Currently have 9 General Fellows and 1 IC, 1 Fellow in house at night, 7 days a week. Take first call for attending cardiologist on call
