Physician - Cardiology - Electrophysiology Pacemaker
About the role
Join our existing EP and a team of general cardiologists, interventionalists, vascular and advanced practice providers. Practice includes a mix of clinic, procedures and reading. 4 lab days per week; 1 clinic day.
Responsibilities
- Reading (monitors, device interrogations)
- Procedures – mix of devices: ICD, Bi-V, perm pacemakers, loop implants, CRT-D, Ablations (afib, aflutter, SVT)
- Cath labs – 1 biplane
- Comprehensive system of ablation and device implant equipment
- PET/Full vascular lab
- 3D TEEs
- No Call
Requirements
Only cardiology program in north central Minnesota with the nearest referral site 140 miles away. 118 bed hospital; 14 bed ICU. Level III trauma center, critical care air service.
Qualifications
- Nationality: US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- MD or DO degree
- Current license to practice medicine in the State of Minnesota
- Experience in electrophysiology preferred
Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong clinical judgment, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
