About the role
A cardiac hospitalist position with an 7-on / 7-off schedule is available. TEE and nuclear cardiology certifications are preferred. There are academic duties and teaching opportunities included.
The high acuity caseload includes patients with advanced heart failure and transplant cases. The position is open to current fellows.
The candidate will be part of a comprehensive cardiac center located in central Connecticut. The hospital offers easy access to Boston and New York City.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of patients with advanced heart failure and transplant cases
- Participation in academic activities and teaching

Requirements
- TEE and nuclear cardiology certifications preferred
- Current medical license
- Experience with high acuity patient care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board certified or board eligible in internal medicine
- Experience with advanced heart failure and transplant care
