PHYSICIAN-BREAST SURGEON

Position Summary

We are seeking a Board-Certified Breast Surgeon to diagnose and treat breast conditions, from benign lumps to breast cancer, through consultations and surgical procedures.

Patient Consultations

• Meet with patients to discuss diagnoses, explain treatment options, and perform pre- and post-operative assessments.

Surgical Procedures

• Perform a range of surgeries, including lumpectomies, mastectomies, biopsies, and lymph node removal.

Treatment Planning

• Create and manage comprehensive, personalized treatment plans for patients with breast cancer and benign breast conditions.

Diagnostics Interpretation

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab results and imaging data.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration

• Work closely with other specialists like oncologists, radiation oncologists, reconstruction surgeons, and pathologists.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements

• Education: MD/DO
• Licensure/Certification: BC/BE in Specialty, ACLS and BLS Certified, DEA License, and Missouri Board of Registration of the Healing Arts.
