Physician - Breast Medical Oncology
About the role
The Breast Medical Oncologist will deliver comprehensive outpatient oncology care at one of Hawai‘i Pacific Health's NAPBC accredited breast centers on the island of O‘ahu in or near Honolulu.
Responsibilities
- Serve breast cancer patients from across Hawai‘i
- Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary care planning
- Mentor and teach advanced practice providers (APPs)
Requirements
- Board certification in Medical Oncology
- Experience in breast cancer management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current medical license in the State of Hawaii
- Completion of an approved residency program in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics
Skills
- Strong clinical skills
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
