About the Role

At Skilled Wound Care, we offer a different path as a leading national wound care physician group. We seek motivated MDs and DOs who want to step off the hospital treadmill, leave legal and administrative burnout behind, and return to practicing pure medicine. As a mobile wound care physician and independent contractor, you will provide critical, hands-on care to a vulnerable geriatric population in nursing facilities. You make the clinical decisions, manage your outcomes, and we handle the rest.

Compensation & Support

• Pay Structure: Per-patient visit pay and per-procedure pay.
• Bonus Program: Quarterly bonus program with potential to earn up to 30% extra income.
• Company-Provided Training: Comprehensive wound care training, including biannual CME conferences.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Active, clear, and unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license.

Note: You do not need to have completed a full residency program or be Board Certified/Eligible to thrive in this role.

Pay

Full-time physicians earn an average starting pay of $220,000 - $250,000 annually, with potential to earn up to $300,000+ through additional services and performance-based bonuses.
