About the role

We are seeking talented, patient-oriented Physicians to join our new Piedmont Urgent Care center in Perry, GA. Our center is part of a growing network with over 70+ locations in Georgia, committed to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management
• Deliver the highest standard of patient satisfaction at all times
• Provide patient care within the respective clinical area which complies with the Professional Staff Bylaws, rules and regulations and Piedmont Urgent Care policies and procedures
• Provide and/or serve as a resource for patient/family and staff
• Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement
• Participate in meetings/activities as required to support operations of the urgent care
• Participate in activities that enhance professional development
• Complete and maintain certification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS and maintain any additional specialty training/certifications as required by the area assigned

Requirements

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and Licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (provided by Piedmont)
• Mets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred
