PHYSICIAN

About the role

The Physician is responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries in a Family Practice model setting; provides comprehensive, outpatient medical services for individuals and families on a continuing basis.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical services including diagnosis and treatment of various diseases and injuries
• Supervises Medical Assistant (MA) clinical activities and verifies MA's clinical skills competency
• Dispenses pharmaceuticals from the clinic dispensary at certain sites
• Serves as lab director for CLIA waived tests performed in the clinic

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical school
• Board Certified in a specific medical specialty or have completed residency and be Board Eligible
• Licensed in the State of Nevada
