Required

• MD or DO degree with successful completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or another relevant primary care specialty
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• DEA registration (or eligibility)
• Demonstrated interest in obesity medicine and metabolic health
• Experience caring for patients with obesity and obesity-related metabolic disease in an outpatient setting
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered, weight-inclusive care
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred

• Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM)
• Experience prescribing and managing anti-obesity medications, including GLP-1 receptor agonists, GIP/GLP-1 therapies, and combination pharmacotherapy
• Familiarity with current obesity medicine clinical practice guidelines
• Experience delivering hybrid care through both in-person and telehealth visits
• Research experience
