Responsibilities

  • Spending scheduled time in the clinic providing compassionate patient care.
  • Completing documentation of patient encounters as per guidelines.
  • Returns patient calls in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing patient medical records, tests, and study results to make recommendations for treatment options, including the provision of second opinions upon request.
  • Utilizing the latest medical services and scientific evidence to develop and follow evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Completing medical records in a timely manner.
  • Developing care protocols necessary for basic health assessments and initiating appropriate care.
  • Acting as a resource for various groups, including worker's compensation, disability management, and risk management, addressing concerns related to injury and illness prevention or treatment.
  • Providing investigative support and resolving problems related to these areas.
  • Acting as a resource to individuals involved in the administration of the HonorHealth Employee Assistance Program.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of referral procedures and/or contracts with physicians and other healthcare providers for services beyond the scope of HonorHealth's program.
  • Communicating effectively with primary and referring physicians.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O - Required
  • Member of the Medical Staff - Required
  • Board Certified or eligible - Required
  • Az State Licensure or other compact state Medical license - Upon Hire
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - Required
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card - State - Required
