About the role
We are seeking a Fee-For-Service Attending Physician/Medical Director for a long-term care facility. This clinical role requires board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with LTC experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee patient care and collaborate with the Center Medical Director to ensure high-quality clinical services
- Manage assigned patients, ensuring timely assessments and comprehensive documentation
- Adhere to credentialing, compliance, and regulatory standards
- Serve as a role model for staff and foster community relationships
- Coordinate transfers with hospitals and healthcare providers
- Demonstrate compassion and uphold the mission of improving patient outcomes
- Support facility operations and participate in compliance and training initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Geriatrics specialization is a plus
