About the role

Seeking a Fee-For-Service Attending Physician/Medical Director for a long-term care facility. This clinical position requires BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with LTC experience. The role involves ensuring quality clinical services, overseeing patient care, and implementing national standards and programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned patients and deliver high-quality care
• Visit patients timely and ensure complete documentation within 72 hours of admission
• Collaborate with the Center Medical Director to improve care
• Coordinate with hospitals and community resources
• Adhere to compliance policies, including legal, regulatory, and ethical standards
• Serve as a role model for staff and articulate the mission to the community
• Participate in quality improvement and accreditation activities

Qualifications & Skills

• M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Geriatrics specialization is preferred
• Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills
• Knowledge of compliance, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements
