About the role
The Physician serves as a healthcare professional capable of handling a variety of health-related problems. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Physician focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. Responsibilities include maintaining medical histories and records, and referring patients to specialists as needed.
This role begins to influence the department’s strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approaches for project components. Work is performed with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
This role is considered patient-facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected, you will be required to be screened for TB.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient medicine with a focus on continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention
- Maintain medical histories and records
- Refer patients to specialists as needed
- Influence department strategy and make decisions on moderately complex issues
- Participate in limited on-call coverage by phone
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of technical experience
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program from an accredited university
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Pay
The starting base pay range for this full-time (40 hours per week) position is $255,000 - $298,500 per year. The pay range may vary based on geographic location and individual pay will depend on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. This role is also eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
