Responsibilities
- Serve as a Medical Officer to PPG leadership, providing clinical, scientific, and technical guidance on the design and direction of CMMI payment models and initiatives.
- Design, plan, implement, and test innovative payment and healthcare service delivery models, including Advanced APMs, Medicare, Medicaid, and integrated care delivery models.
- Serve as clinical subject matter expert and quality advisor, leading development of electronic and digital quality measures across CMMI models and CMS quality programs.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate model implementation, identify trends, and develop policy and program improvement options.
- Build and maintain relationships with providers, medical specialty groups, advocacy organizations, academia, and Congress.
- Represent PPG and CMMI before national healthcare organizations.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Permanent, full, unrestricted US medical license.
- 5 years of graduate training (physicians with varying related backgrounds can perform this role).
- Interest in payment innovation, value-based care, and quality measurement.
Required Skills
- Board-eligible physician.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare policy and programs.
Pay and Benefits
Salary: $166,283 - $197,200/year
Location: Seattle, WA (Telework eligible)
