Physician Associate - Podiatry

About the role

The Physician Associate will provide comprehensive care to patients at the CMH OHSU Foot and Ankle Clinic in Astoria, Oregon. The clinic is part of an established, collaborative practice that focuses on person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient symptoms and develop treatment plans under supervision
• Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
• Collaborate with podiatric surgeons and other healthcare providers
• Provide patient education and counseling

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Successfully certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
• Maintain national certification through completion of 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and passing a recertification examination every six years
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• Credentialed by CMH Professional Staff

Qualifications

• Experience in podiatric medicine preferred
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
