Physician - Associate Medical Director
About the role
The role is 25% administrative and 75% clinical. It offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Medical Director of Hospital Medicine and Program Manager at Maine Medical Center Biddeford Campus as well as the Associate Medical Director of Hospital Medicine at MaineHealth Medical Group (MHMG).
- Join MHMG-HM, an organization within the broader practice group of MaineHealth Medical Group and Maine Medical Center.
- Engage in hospitalist care, quality improvement, and medical education.
- Collaborate with advanced practice professionals (NP/PA).
- Participate in continuing education and journal club activities.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Experience in hospital medicine preferred.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Maine.
